This year’s 5K was held on August 19, 2023 in Denver’s City Park. Over 140 runners with kids and dogs in tow participated in the annual 5K fundraiser. Thanks for everyone’s support STC will be able to purchase 450 sleeping bags from the money raised at this event.

August 18th, 2018 brought over 150 runners with kids and dogs in tow to City Park for our annual 5K fundraiser. This was our most attended 5K to date. Thanks for everyone’s support STC will be able to purchase over 400 sleeping bags from the money raised at this event.

Sixth Annual 5K Pajama Jog
Thank you to all the attendees that came out on August 20th for our 6th Annual 5K Pajama Jog in City Park. With nearly 150 participants the costume contest categories were full of fun and inventive costumes. New this year was a group costume prize and that went to a group of ladies kicking off a bachelorette party.

Fifth Annual 5K Pajama Jog
This year’s 5K Pajama Jog was our most attended fundraiser event! 160 attendees plus 4-legged joggers showed up in City Park on Saturday, August 22nd, 2015 for our Fifth Annual 5K Pajama Jog. The family friendly event kicked off with a costume contest.

Fourth Annual 5K Pajama Jog
Another fun 5K Pajama Jog in City Park! Thank you to everyone who turned out on Saturday, August 23rd, 2014 for our Fourth Annual 5K Pajama Jog. Men, women, children and lots of dogs turned out in beautiful weather to help us raise money to buy sleeping bags for Colorado’s homeless. The event kicked off with costume contests and prizes were given to the top 3 women, men and kids.
After the 5K Trattoria Stella’s hosted our post 5K brunch. The restaurant donated 10% of the proceeds and helped us raise an additional $220.
Third Annual 5K Pajama Jog
Over 150 joggers turned out in City Park for our Third Annual 5K Pajama Jog on Saturday, August 24th, 2013.
The event kicked off with a costume contest for best dressed men, women, and children. There were plenty of 4-legged joggers in costume too. Afterward, all joggers were invited to a post 5K brunch at Udi’s Cafe on Colfax.

On Sunday, March 24th guests at Trattoria Stella, located at 3201 East Colfax Avenue, enjoyed their dinners all the while Sleep Tight Colorado benefited by receiving 10% of their bills as a donation.

On January 24, 2013 friends and supporters attended STC’s Second Anniversary party at The Lobby. Guests enjoyed food, drinks, and a silent auction featuring 6 great items donated by local businesses.

STC Celebrates Turning 1
On January 25th forty friends and supporters gathered at The Lobby in downtown Denver to celebrate Sleep Tight Colorado turning one. While feasting on appetizers donated by The Lobby and chocolate cake from D Bar, attendees mingled and helped to celebrate STC’s amazing success.

Volunteers in Action
STC volunteers help to deliver sleeping bags to our Beneficiaries on a regular basis. Most recently volunteers helped at the First Annual 5K Pajama Jog which had over 175 participants.
